(INT) Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D-San Bernardino) will introduce legislation when the Legislature reconvenes in January to give victims of sexual harassment more time to file claims beyond the one year required under existing law. Under existing law, a victim of sexual harassment must file a claim with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing within one year from the date of the last incident of sexual harassment.

The victim, Clyde Gregory Hayward, was reported missing by his girlfriend in 1992. Hayward was never seen alive again. (INT) The Riverside County DA’s office is warning of scammers installing solar panels at local homes. Three Los Angeles County men were sentenced Wednesday to a combination of jail terms, fines and probation.

Nine homeowners contracted with the suspects believing they were properly licensed when they were not. The defendants were paid more than $210,000. (INT) A teenage boy seen on a social media video throwing a cat into an Ontario street was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony animal abuse. Police were able to identify the 16-year-old boy and arrested him in Upland after a foot chase. The cat suffered a leg injury, but survived.
