Wholesale Soap – Handmade Soap Loaves and Bulk Bars of Soap Why buy wholesale soap from our company? Since 1999 we have been producing 1000’s of pounds of natural handmade soap. Entire loaves of soap are ready for you to cut into bars and label with your own company name. Large soap blocks now available at a discounted price over single loaves. If there is one thing we know, it is soap. Also, Soap by the Loaf and Aromagregory specialize in soaps made with real essential oils.

We use trusted suppliers for our ingredients – many of them grown on American farms. All soaps are made by hand in our Tennessee workshop by the owners of the company. Trusting that your supplier actually KNOWS the difference in essential oils and fragrance oils is an important factor in choosing who makes your soap.

We carry both real essential oil soap and soap made with fine fragrance. The two are never mixed. Essential oil soap is ALL essential oils, while our fragrance varieties contain no essential oils. Each type is clearly marked. Soap by the Loaf and Aromagregory tells you every single ingredient found in our wholesale soap. The list is simple – olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil and shea butter. The scent comes from real plant based essential oils (or fine fragrances) and the color comes from oxides and pigments – in other words, the same colorant used to make mineral makeup.

Your soap arrives to you in whole loaves or entire blocks.

It is best to unwrap the loaves and cut them into bars as soon as they arrive. It is much easier for the bars to cure when air can reach the entire surface of the bar. That’s rather hard to do when the bars are still compacted together into one solid loaf. So thesoapguy.com was born. Before that we had been calling ourselves Dorrian Valley Soap. As our website grew we eventually with drew from Ebay and Etsy and started focusing on our new website.

We were lucky enough to have a steady customer base that allowed us gain word of mouth traction and continue to grow our business. This is when our second move came as we needed more space to accommodate the growing customer base. We move about 1.5 hours east of our first location to NW Indiana to take advantage of plentiful warehousing options for customers. At this time we added our first bath bomb page to the soapguy website.

We did not get many orders for bath bombs this first few years though the increase in sales was steady. There we several more moves to slightly larger places until we found our current home. Each one was a true adventure in entrepreneurship.
